American Basketball System

I have googled this stuff and cannot find out how the American Basketball system works.

I have worked out that the NBA is the top level. But, what are all the other leagues i.e.:
ABA
CBA
D-League
EBA
ESL
IBL
KBDL
MBEL
NLBA etc etc etc.

From what I have read, the D-League is a feeder league to the NBA. Are all the others similar???

cba is a quality league, thats what D-Mac got scouted from to coem to Australia
