Spirit V Dragons

WOW! The spirit have knocked off the Dragons 103-94. What a massive result after the week they have had. Doesnt help the sixers much though.

Spirit WONT make the top 6. So im not to bothered for the 36ers ladder chances. Just a fantastic result for them, and had the biggest crowd of the season too, a whopping 2500!

Did Goorj/Cowan throw the game? There were threats of boycotting the game unless the NBL guaranteed the result and past results vs Spirit would stand. Did they decide to use the game to spread the minutes? Or was it just a straight up gutsy effort by the Spirit! In the face of adversity a lot of teams will over perform, we see it time and time again, coaches sacked, players sacked, teams looking to fold.

kad, crowd was 2500, which was pretty strong considering they had struggled to get 1500 all year.
Interesting to see the box score. Vukona hit 2/10 from the FT Line. Man, that's a disgrace.
