ESPN have named their All America teams. Interesting to see Patty Mills get a spot in the 2nd team.
Obviously the criteria for "All American" was devised by the same American that named the baseball finals the "World Series"...
Any idea what the criteria for this is? Ie, similar to the Wooden or simply the best player?

Interesting to see that Andy Katz put Mills on his first team. The 2nd team all-american has some pretty special players in it so it's amazing for Patty to be there, alongside a guy like Ty Lawson.

Well, we have the "All-Australian" team in the AFL, for example. Can Irishmen not make this team? Just the names are left over from when both sports had little to no involvement by internationals... and the tradition continues.
Pretty good by Patty to get his name up there already. My eyebrows pricked up when I saw Andy Katz put him in the first team, as well. Let's hope he doesn't let them down.
