That might make more sense , then. Phil would have read the paper, that says Scott doesn't know anything about Hodge signing and was looking at those other 2 players, who are ready to come, and Hodge had to tell him in 24 hours. But, Phil still did say that Hodge was here, today... Maybe he's leaving today.

But, I'm still a little confused about Hodge.

He is coming back to the 36ers 100%, its a done deal and the team has already been practicing a 4 out offense, so expect big numbers from Julius and guys like Schencsh to be able to peel off and get easy ones! Will take a mini 'negative miracle' for this team not to make some serious noise in the playoffs from this point!

Wasn't Smyth the one that said if you keep me as coach then I could get Hodge back otherwise he wont come back. Thankfully Mal saw through Smyth's rubbish and got Ninnis :)

Hang on, Flynn was targetted as a villain here a while back. Good move to keep him on. ; )

DDFan I was the only one that targetted Flynn and I was wrong to do so. I just didn't want any coaches from the old Smyth regime with this new fresh team. Also I mentioned that the defensive struggles have been similar the past two seasons but also said this is not necessarily Flynns fault as perhaps he is giving the correct instructions yet the players or coach weren't executing or using the instructions correctly.

I think this coaching group has a bright future ahead of them which was made even more evident when they released Tydnale before the season went under. I have confidence that this coaching group will lead us deep into the playoffs and that Adelaide will be strong for years to come.
