And now i expect them to lose coming up with missing smith and all for 2-4 weeks.
Its been a nice start to the season and against some good teams. I won't be surprised if they split the next two away games, beat the Bulls but drop one to the Celtics.
They have picked up some handy role players to cover the loss of Childress but the loss of Smith for a couple of weeks will test them. Luckily they have weaker teams next week at home.

Will be fine without Smith . All he does is chase stats while his man scores a quiet 25 .

The big developments within this team are as follows-
1- Bibby running the offence means better looks for Joe J and his production reflects that. Regardless of what Bibby has stat wise, the pressure to create has been taken from Joe and that is huge for this team.
2- Horford and Josh are getting smarter as defenders, the entire team plays solid D right now, but with Horford they have lunch pail mentality and Josh provides the presence. Opponents can never feel safe from being swatted while he is on the court. Granted he does leave his man- but the good out-weighs the bad.
3- Marvin Williams must be working super hard on his stroke (gigigity). Last year he developed an outstanding mid range jumper, now he has extended it to the 3pt line.
4- Bench production. Losing Childress sux but the improvement of Pachulia and the additions of Evans and flip have been seamless.
Hats off to em, i really thought they would fall flat but Woodson has coached his ass off and got the players beleiving. Bibby's efforts are a credit to the motivational staff- its real easy for a vet to slide once they think they are not on a contender.
Second round play-offs calling.
