Salaries and salary caps

How are salaries figured up? Do salaries cover one year or period of years and what is the team salary cap and 10% increase? Just run it!

Contracts can cover multiple years, but the salaries, as considered by the cap, are for a single year.

Derwin had said at the Bullets relaunch in Sept that they wanted the cap to go to $3 mil.

If clubs could go for that, that would be great then we can attract even better players here.

David, are you sure owners need to be paying more money for their teams?

Perhaps it's so that teams can stop pretending they are under the cap when they're not and a bit more in line with what's getting paid.
Didn't the review also say something about a wildcard import exempt from the cap... perhaps part of it goes towards that or they anticipate that our AUD will be worth a lump of coal soon?

We need to keep the league costs down so we can get clubs making money, not losing it like they have been for so many years.

This new 8 team format will be the best thing for basketball australia.
