Just heard some results from Pasadena last night...
Forestville over Sturt in U12G, U14G, U16G, U16B & U18B. Also only went down by 10 or so in the U18G minus a couple of handy players.
Are the Eagles now the team to beat & early favourites for state champs? If those results are any indication, you'd have to say yes!
as a forestville member I'd say that given it's 2 rounds into summer a bit hard to tell yet to be honest. teams are just working out their sets, motions, defences and getting used to a whole bunch of changes. it's good to see wins early but shouldn't get too excited yet.
Bit early to call - like Carlton winning the pre season comp a few years ago

When you win that well in round two the only way to go is backwards!!!

Can't believe how selfish sturt 18 boys are !!! Eagles played well as a TEAM. Big heads in blue - overated.
