Will Chuck go with the new changes?

Thinking back to when I was in Brisbane for the Brisbane relaunch function two weeks ago, I realised that Chuck Harmison didn't say a single word at the conference and the entire presentation was handled by David Thodley. (I think that's how you spell his name)

He did say to a few people after the function that the NBL needs to run itself like a proper business and made reference to this not being done adequately in the past. (Yes, we all know the answer to that one)

I wonder if he is being groomed as Chuck's replacement (even though he is interim)- either for the new season start or not long after it begins?
I have heard that the parting will be amicable- I'm trying to get clarification from credible sources if this is the case and/ or when.

Has anyone heard anything on the grapevine to this effect?
Thanks guys.

Haven't heard anything, but you'd wonder if moving him on or finding him a different role in the organisation might be a smart part of any rebranding?

David Thodey Group Managing Director of Telstra Business and Government of Telstra Corp. Ltd.

He earns in excess of $2m a year and yes he is on the intrim board but CEO or Chucks replacement I don't think so........

It does however give me great hope when people of David's and the lady from Westpac are involved.

Ps his salary is a matter of public record. Google him and you will see.

Hopefully they will be convincing the powers that be in their own organisations to part with some much needed cash to finance some of these grand plans the NBL have for the revamped League.
Otherwise, I'm not sure how they plan to get all that money.....
