Flynn got stiffed again for COY. He had a pretty ordinary list this year (considering injuries and walkouts) and still made the finals. He could've taken any of the teams outside the five (except maybe Eastern) to the finals and would be playing in the GF if he had any of the other lists from the team that finished above him.
The South list is no better than the Sturt one (I consider South, Sturt, Woodville, West and Centrals all pretty similar standard lists) - Kelly Manning DEF Coach of the Year.

Well done Brad Philp.
After being runner-up to Browny 3 in a row, you deserved it

The results were not suprising of last years count. We knew Cayla would dominate in the votes to take the Halls, followed second by Mia Newley.Once again, the Wollacott just proves the winner will come from a top three team. As I predicted, Erik or Todd would be take home the medal. And I predicted for weeks that Shane Brehney would be up there in the votes despite being in one of the bottom sides. Should have made the all-star five in place of Wilson.
Kudos to Foley who polled 23 out of a possible 24 votes in her 8 games!!
Sturt Woman in the Grand Final.......and not one award
How does that work!!!
Because they are a pretty even TEAM anon! They don't rely extensively on any individual player(s) like Eastern and Norwood do.
No one really stands out - different players seem to be leading scorers each week.
FWIW - I don't think North had THAT many awards either (Mansfield in All-Star 5)?
Wilson much better than shane .... deserves his spot in all star 5
Is it just me or does the league lack legitimate 3 men?
Last year in the all-star 5 Oakley was named as a 3 man, who is more of a 4/5 and this year Wilson was named as a 3 man, who is more of a 1/2.
This position in the all-star 5 seems to be becoming just a spot to give to one of the other guys in one of the other positions who is also good.
What do u think?

If you look at Shane Brehney's stats, top rebounder, almost 20 points a game in side that finished well in the bottom five, he much deserves his spot over Wilson. Great season by Cam but Burdon and Matthews were the standouts in their posistions as guards. If you were picking the all-star five to play against another all-star five in another comp. then you wouldn't pick three guards. Shane is a big man who had a dominate season in a bottom side yet backed it up on the boards and with the baskets and should have found a place in the five which includes three guards!

I would just like to say once again...I told you so! Wilson polled 15 votes but was no where near the leaders. And the winner was from a top three team, the top 5 players all coming from the top three teams!
I don't know why you people question me...the only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!

I never questioned you Panther. It was the same when you were playing. You never fouled once. You were always right and the umpires were always wrong.
