I just read on the Diamond Valley website that Sam Gilmore (U16 Vic Metro) has made the team. Not sure on any others. Outstanding effort as a bottom age player.

WOW so far only bottom agers known , doesnt seem like selectors have alot of confidence in top age boys..for this age group.. Who are the guns in top age for these boys

Hugh Greenwood, Jackson Aldridge, Anthony Drmic, John Marriot all had very good tournaments in 16's as top age kids. Greenwood obviously the standout.

I think Greenwood would make it considering he is in the Emus team now!

The Norwood kid and Centrals kid from the current U16 group are going to the training camp.

I think VIC Metro will fill most of the spots..
We should all know soon..Maybe NSW and WA will be represented other than Phillip Chircu..

Could be forgiven for thinking VIC Metro will fill most of the spots since they easily dominated U16s in 2007, won U18 in 2008 with several bottom age players in the team ... what do you get:

1 U17 player
1 U16 player

No argument with Aldridge, Marriott or Greenwood selections. 2007 GF MVP Iskra not there, Hadziomerovic not there
