Lightning beats Townsville, 101-99

High scoring WNBL game today with some great individual performances. Chandi Jones scored 45 against the Lightning (in 32 minutes!), the fifth highest score in WNBL history apparently.

Laura Summerton had 35 and 8 for Adelaide. Jenni Screen had 21, 9 and 7. Erin Phillips had 18, 8 and 8. Three great outings for Lightning players.

Also tonight, Jessica Bibby from Dandenong dropped 47 points on Canberra -- that's 47 points in less than 28 minutes, including 18 of 29 FG (5 of 12 3P) and 6 of 7 FT. Wow.

So whats Bibby going to score in the local ABL comp this year for North?There is going to be some high scores this year. Do we have some scoring machines that will replace deanna smith?

Shit that sounds like a pretty kick ass game for the WNBL, 35 from Summerton is a great effort and 45 by Jones? Shave your hair off and play Backup SG for the 6ers
