That is overpaid and will definitely screw the Lakers if they are forced to match that price.

Guys like Turiaf are a dime a dozen.
Every time he took the floor agaunst Utah in the play-offs Boozer carved. No-way he is worth that money.
Still...if his contract is for only two years, look for the sign and trade deal with New Jersey!!!!

Typical of what Golden state have done in the past... good players bolt in free agency, so they try to appease their fans by a few signings, normally overpaying for average players.

turiaf is quality, and is a big guy phil jackson really trusted. turiaf will be part of a nice pivot rotation with biedrins for the warriors. i think we'll see more of turiaf's underrated offence - his mid-range shot is very good. and his energy will fit right into the high-paced offence.
but will the lakers match the offer? if it's up to the zen master, they will. but management may feel that since bynum is coming back, turiaf isn't desperately needed
