Newley Not In Summer League? Why?

Anyone know why Brad Newley isn't in the Rockets summer league team for this year?

I though he was invited back for this year which make sense seeing as they still hold his rights.

He probably was but probably decided playing for the Boomers would be more beneficial.

These guys should know that if you dont go to college and opt to develop your game in Australia's NBL, your NBA chances are shot. Hence Newley and Jawai, both will have no impact on the NBA. But if both went to college or stayed in college, both could have been solid NBA players. As for Bogut, made the correct decision and ended up 1st pick. Pat Mills and Ater Majok with both follow Bogut into the NBA via the 1st round.
