What about that Yuta Tabuse, surely when the suns signed him it was to sell jerseys in japan cos there was a ton of fuss about him and from memory he only played 2 games for them. What in god's name is he doing here anyway, the bloke's 5 ft 9 and 28 years old. He also played div 2 college. Obviously just making up the numbers.

The nets aren't even on the list of teams competing in the summer league according to the official site http://www.nba.com/summerleague2008/.

Can someone please explain?

There are usually two or three summer leagues, with the majority heading to LV, but a few other teams hitting more "local" leagues, against still quality players ...

Are they really releasing a watch for Julius Hodge playing the Summer League?

Yeh, the watch will feature his head, the nba logo with a question mark next to it and it will be able to display the times of only Denver, New Jersey, Adelaide and possibly Melbourne, If you live in Turkmenistan, I don't recommend buying it.

It would be a huge kick in the guts to the 36ers if Hodge signed with the Tigers after the 36ers are waiting around this long for him. If that happened, a good healthy round of boos would be in order for the 1st 36ers vs Tigers home game. Hodge would be within his rights to accept the best offer he can get in Australia but it wouldn't be out of order to make that intention known as he has with his NBA aspirations. Especially knowing that the 36ers are actually waiting around for a reply from him.

What are our options if Hodge goes else where?

Both teams are waiting around for him and what could Adelaide offer him that Melbourne cannot? More money? Better lifestyle? etc.

Hodge only got 10 minutes court time in Game 1.

2 points at 50%
5 boards (1 off / 4 def)
2 Turnovers

Nets won comfortably of Orlando. 86 - 74.

Hodge Watch - Game 2

Played 19 mins
2/5 from the field for 4 points
0/1 from outside
4 Boards (all def)
and 1 assist, steal and foul.

Going by boxscores alone, you wouldnt rate him highly for a call up just yet.

Anyone watch the game?

0/1 from outside - I hope it was a hail mary on the buzzer from half court because he doesn't want to be showing that outside shot off too much!
