on the girls side,
SAC beat WAM by 2, WAM just beat NSWC, (by a dozen or so?) so if SAC can play true to form and beat NSWC they'll finish 2nd in their pool.
Lose, and there'll be a three way tie for 2nd, with SAC looking to slip to fourth in that pool based on percentage (all three teams would've beaten one another once!).
SAM can't make top 2 as VICC and QLDS both have an extra win and play each other, meaning the winner of that game will finish 2nd behind NSWM
on the boys side,
SAM are 4-0 having beaten VICM (2nd) and QLD sth (3rd), so unless there is a large upset at the hands of NSWC (4th) tomorrow at 9am, they'll top their pool, and play the 2nd team in the other pool (QldN if they lose by a little tomorrow to NSWM, or NSWM if QLDN can upset them tomorrow) for a spot in the Gold medal game.
SAC, as with the SAMW can't make top two (medal contention), and are only trying to improve their position from here on in.
Finals playoff
Now - according to PY finals format, Pool A 1 v Pool B 2, Pool A 2 v Pool B 1. To decide who'll play off for Gold & Bronze.
Then, Pool A 3 v Pool B 4, Pool A 4 v Pool B 3, etc for positions only.
