Is a new team in Sydney a possibility?

Just listen to Chuck Harmisons interview online on melbourne radio and I was thinking, is there a possibility that the NBL will use the Sydney Kings license to make a new team in Sydney to along with the Razorbacks and start on a clean slate with a new team, new owner etc. Or is it more likely that we'll see the Kings return in future seasons OR are the Pigs going to be the only Sydney team for a considerable amount of time. Personally I think we'd be best of with ONE new team in Sydney but that doesn't appear to be happening we'll atleast not for this season.

What's most likely is that there will be one team in Sydney for the foreseeable future, whether that is the Pigs or something completely different.

If you can guarantee that asses would be planted in seats for a full house EVERY week, then a merger is the best bet.

Technically if you merged the Pigs and Kings together to form a new team, you'd assume the fan base from both would mean sell outs to every home game. However, a new team IS a new team and that doesn't mean that you'll be looking at sellouts or popularity.

A new franchise would need to be looked into further.
