I agree with kobe, he is a very good ruckman. But i dont think any club would take him. i dont reckon he could play nbl tho as it has changed a bit scince he left.

He'd be fitter and stronger than any guy in the NBL if he was to switch right now.

Ok, maybe not all guys... but most.

NBL has changed, but not for the better.

Well, he does turn 30 this year. Could well be retired from AFL in a couple of seasons time, yet probably still young enough for a few more seasons of NBL.

He'd need to trim down quite a bit to play NBL IMO. As good as he is at footy, i don't think he's build now would suit basketball.

Plus what club would punt on him, being a 3/4? when there's so much young talent (college returners) hitting the L this year.

why would he take a huge pay cut... probably makes 1/5th of a NBL teams salary cap playing footy.

I never remember him being much of a bball player anyways, even when he got court time with the falcons??

No way a battered ruckmans AFL body could translate to NBL at age 30+ , probs could come back and help out at ABL level .
Nothing to prove also .

Must say he has been a more than competent contributor to power success and when he fires up most follow and the team usually wins .

Kudos to the Big Brogan from south town .

Who'd honestly want Dean Brogan?

Agree with Nino. He was very average NBL and even ABA player. IMO no team would bother - as has been said - there are a lot of younger/taller/more talented players around.

If you dont care, then why are u reading or commenting D!ckhead.

IMO he could still be useful at ABA level but would need to do alot of work to be up to NBL standard.

Yeah he wouldn't be on much playing at Goodwood, maybe about $250-$300 a game. But he would earning a good wage as an accountant.
