NBA Trivia- Most games played, no 3pt attempt.
Looking through an old b-ball almanac, discovered this little gem. Good luck trivia buffs.

I will say Wilt Chamberlain as he played most of his games before the 3 point line was implemented.

Mark Eaton, Mutombo, Mark West, RObert Parish, Bill Catwright?

Rather hilarious question actually; I'd say someone like Shaq (who by gods will alone, should never allow him to shoot the 3) but you just know he's tried one in game for no good reason at all.
I'll stick with Dikembe, although I'm seeing images of him giving me the finger as he throws up a trey back in 97 or something.

TR, you wouldn't be the first who'd like to take a stab at Tree Rollins.
I really want to say Manute or Shawn Bradley, but I know it's not true.
Yinka Dare?
Frank Brickowski?
Mike Schremk?

Manute had a pretty high success rate from downtown, so defs not him ...

Shaq is out he has score 1 from 22 threes in 1053 games. Impressive amount of games
Wilt Chamberlain went 1058 games with out a three.
Kareem managed one in 1560 games
But i would have to say Robert Parish over 1620 games spanning 21 years he managed zero from 6 attempts at three

But as Kent points out, Wilt never had a 3 point line!

Whilst trying to find the answer i discovered the ultimate Manute Bol trivia piece. Only player in history to have more blocks than points.

Next year's all-Star weekend should have a three point comp involving centres (perhaps past and present) who have hit less than 10 3's in their career. It would be ugly to watch but it would be a laugh watching Shaq, Kendrick Perkins and Ben Wallace etc try to hit 3's. Oh and it would be one round only, you can't have too much of a bad thing.

Ok, here it is.....
James Donaldson.
957 games, not one attempted trey. Not even a full court heave.
Second was Michael Olowokandi with 500 games.
Honourable mentions to;
Theo Ratliff 679+ games
Felton Spencer 640 games,
Each have attemtped only one trey.

I can just imagine Donaldson's last career game, two seconds to go, his team down by three and the ball somehow ends up in his hands on the three point line. Should I launch it and try and win the game or fumble it out of bounds and retain the title for the most obscure NBA trivia stat in history?
... Whoops, bounced it off my foot!

Quagmire, you might want to update Wikipedia, no mention of this amazing stat on his page.
