Your prediction re south 16 boys - what went wrong ?
Lost to north last week, lost to west last night !!!

What excuse this time - bad coaching, thursday night game , missed shots, no defence, no offence, beaten by a better team ? mind boggling. Oh that's it , had to travel !!!

Prediction now bottom 4 - back to nunnawading in div 3 over june long weekend - at least you may win something. You don't even play your neighbours from morphett vale so can't pencil in a win there either !

Hopefully that mavs kid that hurt his ankle is ok. Not nice to see an injury to a young kid like that. Does anyone know how he is ?

you think you have solved a puzzle but Victorian has some valid questions. I am not having a go at the Southern team but Southern Cuzin was sprouting the other week how good they were.

South will do well - but only if the comp for Norwood, Sturt & Eastern, as was suggested on another thread, happens. Which pretty well makes them almost the best of the rest!

West are good with their half court press and North are good perimetre shooters.Should be a good competitive week, good to have competitive banter on and off the court.

In 16 boys state champs results last night

West beat South nicely

Sturt beat forestvilel bya bout 20 [they were tied at halftime, Sturts third quarter trap was phenomenal]

Eastern disposed of North easily
And norwood cleanued up centrals...

Some interesting games tonight...

As we can see, only sturt, norwood, and eastern have a chance of winning the state champs. West/south/North will be 3rd in easterns pool, but will be obliterated by the lsoer of sturt/norwood in pool A.... Forestville should be 3rd in pool A as i can't see them struggling vs centrals or southern.....

btw, what was up with forestville's defence on the perimeter vs many of the sturt players last night. They seemed to back off a few steps, almost seemingly allowing sturt to shoot open 3's. Is this because, they were wary of their inside strength, and weren't allowing the post passes? seemed to work well for the first half but then sturt just kept on going and pulled away in the 4th

looking forward to sturt v norwood pool game, which will effectively decide who makes the final, as the loser will play eastern
