State Champs Stats

Raised in another thread, mention made of the Stats on the sporting pulse website. Not all kids names are on the lists, or is there a hidden second page. Are BSA going to enter these Stats anyway or not? If they are and not all kids names have been entered what happens if someone gets a bagfull and their name is not up. I am sure that kid would like to see some results. Anyone out there in the know? Perhaps a good question for Stat Man!

I dont think BSA will be putting stats up on the net. There is probably a number of reasons why but i would guess having kids parents email BSA with every slightly worng score. EG. My son scored 12 in that game and you only have him down for 10, That would be my guess. It might also have to do with the fact that it is a junior tournament.

For the teams that I am interested all names are in the stats list, it's just that they're not sorted in any order so you may have to do some searching.

I went to my kids div and half his team is missing, so I went and looked at a few other age groups anddivisions from our club and it was the same thing - by clicking in the players name black bar you can alphabetise by first name the list so makes it easy to see whose there and who is not.

You really have to be kidding don't you? Yes have a player in U16's and I cannot see South progressing with any of the players they have there including the sassi kids! Feel sorry for the new coach in U16 girls lots of problems there. Before you say it, yes we have spoken to the coach! South really need to look at how they are not developing the juniors and get their act into gear.

Got these off the Basketball SA website. Thought the parents and kids might benefit... and any other players ... to get them on that path to success players need to show 'Potential to be socially compatible and display a sense of "team ethic" within a group.....demonstrated attitude to become an exceptional basketball player...Outstanding desire and committment to working hard at improving mental, physical and basketball skills....' and my favourite 'Be highly receptive to coaching!'
