2008 NBA Draft - How many Aussies?

How many Aussies can get drafted into the NBA this year? (AJ Ogilvy is not likely to nominate, as is Mills)

Will Jawai go as a first or second round pick? Will Aleks Maric get drafted? What about Joe Ingles? Are Aaron Bruce's chances are all but gone? Any thoughts?

Consensus on below websites say that Jawai will get picked in 2nd round. In gles a late second round chance, as is MAric.
Interesting to see that collegehoops.com rate 3 Aussies inside the top 50 college players, with AJ Ogilvy at 35, Aleks Maric at 44 and Mills at 49.

If Ogilvy and Mills aren't nominating then the magic number is ZERO

Certainly no Aussie's in round 1 if Ogilvy isn't nominating. Jawai a chance to be gambled on by someone in the 2nd round, no chance at actually getting a gig though, I imagine. Ingles chances are zilch at this stage. Aaron Bruce should've nominated years ago when his stocks were high if he wanted to get drafted. I like Maric, not sure how high his stocks are at this stage, however.

And even though there's zero chance Bruce or Maric will be playing?

I'd say there's plenty more than zero chance.

It's simple = ZERO or doughnut or big fat bagel or whatever you want to call it.

How can you possibly say that? Bruce played at the World Champs, Maric in the warm up games before that, but I believe got injured. They both are in the squad. I think that Goorj will probably take a combo guard again, meaning (right now) either Kendall or Bruce, and Maric is one of the young bigs (remember, he's only 23 and he's found himself in draft contention) who could go if he does well enough at the camps.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that they both will make it (IMO though, Bruce is at least a 50/50 chance), but to say they both have zero chance is ridiculous.

Patrick Mills will not get drafted into the NBA ever!!! He is too short and slow as shown this year when ever he played a school with a good point guard.

Jawai defintiley gets drafted, he may not play next year or get a contract but you will look like a goose when he goes late second round. Mills will be drafted next year also after a dominating Australian performance this year.
