From Perth. He (CJ) was on the local news last night saying he'd like to play there. Didn't sound like fluff, sounded like you could bank on a formal announcement any day now.

anon, don't post stuff like that.
i'd like to play for the pistons, and you don't see posts that say 'duh! to the pistons' and then goes on to say that because i'd like to play there that it's confirmed.
when we get a formal announcement, then it's done... not before.

Bruton to one of Wildcats, Tigers or Dragons I'd say. Can't see him staying in Brisbane.

I'd love Bruton to play for the 36ers.

I posted this a couple of days ago in the off season thread..

"Mark Worthington is looking at either Perth or Cairns (as already rumoured on HoopsSA) and Bruton is also looking at Perth."

my wang and body doesn't have enough bits of metal hanging out of it to justify calling myself Dennis Rodman

Wortho is also on the Dragons radar, but Cairns are doing an "Abney" and throwing craploads in his direction, from what I hear.

Why is it called an "Abney"? Not like they weren't doing it before that (viz. Mee, Cattalini)!

From What Sturty tells me TR you can put away Jaeger Bombs like Rodman though ;)

Call it a Mee, a Catt a Jawai or an Abney.....I don't care.

But you get the point.

Although I'm pretty sure Abney set a new record.

He may well join his brother there. He will either get the head coaching job or become an assitant to Connor

How far back do you want to go? Why not call it a "Sammy Mac".

"How far back do you want to go? Why not call it a "Sammy Mac"."

Because it was a deliberate shot at Cairns and he never played for them?!?!?!

It looked like it was a deliberate shot at teams that "throw craploads in a players direction"

"Mee, Catt, Jawai & Abney"

See anything in common?????

;-)

It could be applied to a number of teams, but it was targeted at Cairns because, there's precedent there, and they are supposedly doing it again with Wortho.

Cj's brothers in austin and elliot live in perth. anyhow, i think the deciding factor is that joey wright is the new cats coach and he and CJ are good mates. i think that was the deciding factor in hes decision to become a Wildcat.

CJ
Crawford
Worthington
Redhage
Loughton

Bench
Robbins
Import one
Import two
Local Aussie
Rogers

It's gonna make the cats a very, very , very powerfull side. certianly just as good as the tigers if not better

BTW, from my mail, the cats are looking at bringing back trahair and caporn. i think they wiull only go with one import. a backup power forward for redhage.

Bench

Robbins
Trahair
Caporn
Import
Rogers.

Not alot of size, but alot of offense and some defense with robbins and roggie

Vlahov HATES CJ

CJ HATES Vlahov

CJ LOVES Perth, grew up there and went to HS there

CJ's mum is in Perth

CJ's brother Austin is in Perth

CJ was in negotiations with Perth before he signed with the Kings, he let Vlahov fly him over to Perth, put him up in a sweet pad for the weekend, when it came time to talk contract - CJ was happy as Larry to tell Vlahov he'd signed with Sydney just before he got on the plane to come to Perth. Vlahov was a prick to CJ for years and it was his just deserved.

Time heals everything though and I think the HOFF may be desperate to get him now...?

CJ - 10
Crawford - 8 or 9
Worthington - 10
Redhage - 10
Loughton - 9? but with discount maybe a 6?

Bench
Robbins - 5
Import one - 10
Import two - 10
Local Aussie - 2
Rogers - 9 or 10?

No way that team can be anywhere near under the cap.
