Ricky Grace to coach the Wildcats... Really?
Mike Ellis was a failure, Scott Fisher has been *better* but I don't think he handles the pressure situations well, do we honestly want to go down the player turned coach path again?

Note to all NBL teams.

Pick a coach to coach your teams.

Players with little or no coaching experience usually fail.

Find someone who has a record as a coach.

My info is...

Kings - Gorg
West Sydney - Bevo
Sixers - Ninnis
Dragons - Stacker
Perth - Connor Henry
Carins - possible change to occur here

The most frustrating thing for fans i think is that decisions are taking so long to make, and having spoken to a couple of players, other clubs may miss out on their signatures due to the length of time things are taking.

Some very different looking teams next season.

Ellis had no help, no money and was stabbed by Vlahov

How can you prepare a team to play with limited resources? Ellis was a good WA boy who helped out when no one would have a bar of them due to unbeleivable tightness with the $$$

Nowadays, no one would go near a job under those conditions.

People don't look at the background of clubs, they look at the coach and the players & from any outsiders point of view, Mike Ellis was a failure as a coach.

Not true. He may not have achieved results at NBL level, but at Junior National level with WA Metro he was successful.

Ask Mick Malthouse or Neil Craig or Choco to coach with no medical staff, travel by seaplane and then no video tech support.

See if they are successful.

Fair is fair man.

Agreed, but the thread was about NBL coaches/coaching hence my reference to Mike Ellis & his coaching role at the Wildcats
