you have got to be kidding me.

The Opals team (Penny Taylor, Lauren Jackson etc etc) played against our u-18 SASI team in '02 (class of B.Newley, E.Burdon, B.Madgen, B.Kies etc) and lost. They would get smoked against an NBL team.

Proponents of the women's game are the ones who put forward the "fundamentals" straw man argument in the first place so I don't think a dig at that is too unfair.

Based on their other posts, gildo (and others posting from the same IP) is a bit new to this, very young, or a few slices short of a loaf?

Boom Patrol, no I am not saying those guys don't have the fundamentals, but if that's all you relied on, took away their athleticism, then would there be this discussion about men being better, more entertaining etc etc etc. No you can't expect women to dunk the ball in a game, but you can expect people like erin phillips, renee camino, lauren jackson etc to show great athleticism in the womens comp. Some of their moves are amazing, just because they don't finish it off with a dunk makes them boring??. IMO no.
