Bob Knight for 6ers job

What about Bobby Knight for the 6ers job? Surely he would be able to build a great program and develop young locals to play on the world stage, as well as having the contacts to get some great imports over from college while they are looking to crack the NBA....

I'm sure if you throw a seven figure salary his way he'd be more than happy to come out here.

Mike Dunlap is happy @ the Denver Nuggets I think. I could always email him and ask him. He sent me a letter recently after I sent him an Xmas card.

I'd take Knight as 36ers Coach, but doubt it will happen in reality. Money would also be an issue.

While we're at it why not try Phil Jackson Greg Popovich. Maybe Dick Vitale wants to return to coaching. Digger Phelps? Cmon now why woul Bob Knight want to come to Australia and coach any team? What does he have to prove?

My tip is Phil Jackson for the 36ers job, especially if they dangle a five figure salary at him.

He would wave a five finger salute back at them. "Goodbye, thanks for the laugh."

Phil Jackson definitely won't be coming unless you buy out his Lakers contract. He signed an extention til 2010 I think it was.

Ken Cole anyone? He already has 1 championship experience with the 36ers in 1986 and NBL Coach of the year the same year.

I would love to see Bobby Knight go to town on the "magician" Boti Nagy in a press conference. He would eat this sarcastic reporter alive and maybe bring his shotgun with him. Boti can dish it, but can he take it? I think not.
