Funny Before the game: 36ers vs Taipans, Saturday

Ok, Im getting in early with this one, but Im pretty excited about this game.

So many things to look forward too.

We are still a playoff chance.
Brett Maher is back.
Possibly Copelands last ever game in Australia.
Possibly Phils last home game for the Sixers.
Possibly the last chance we have to see Hodge.
Cairns like us have everything to play for.
Ex Sixers Cat & Mee will be here.
Monster Rookie Jawai will be here and possibly our last chance to see him before he possibly goes to the big show.
and its even Suttons 50th game.

I thinks its going to be a very free flowing high scoring game.
But have to go with the Sixers in a nailbiter.

Early crowd guess of 6432

Skip, it is promising to be a great game!

I am excited about all the things you have mentioned there except for the last one....Seriously is it a different Sutton this year than the one we saw last year with confidence and a good shot...??? Also his shooting action has changed...he lets it go out the very back of his right hand which would affect the distance (I am no coach by any means but it makes logical sense to me..???) Anyway I think he won't be on the roster next season (I hope)

Back to the game, am I right in saying that if Cairns lose all of their matches remaining and we win all of ours, we are in the play-offs? Are there any other results that need to go our way?

The game Saturday night should draw a big crowd (My guess 6,742) of which should pump our players up for a big win!

Corey - Correct. If the Taipans drop their games to the Hawks and Crocodiles and we get over them Saturday and then go on to beat the Slingers in Singapore, we score a miracel berth in the finals.

Went to venuetix to get tickets today and was forced to sit in tghe back corner (fair enough, really) but my point is it's great to see so many tickets sold. Little doubt in my mind that there'll be any less than 6,000.

36ers by 25+ Cairns looked shocking against Dragon's in big sections. If Mee is out, and Black is saw AGAIN, Taipans have no chance at all, Alan is that good a coach! Its all about timing and the Taipans aren't even playing close to what it takes to win playoff games.....yet the 36ers ARE, pity our chances are slim of showing that potential!

Kobe24 I agree. We don't deserve to make the playoffs because we haven't won enough games but we deserve it more than the Taipans in terms of making better use of the opportunity.

Just booked 3 tickets on Venuetix for my daughters friends that are in from out of town. I couldn't get three beside each other??? Also right up there in the cheap seats. I'm assuming this means it's going to be a massive crowd.

I'm looking forward to a very exciting game
