Stephen Weigh

Just saw on NBL Stephen Weigh is leaving college to come home and turn pro, he is a SF im pretty sure, come on 6ers sign him up now on a 3 year deal and build around him, im pretty sure he was touted along with guys like Ingles and Jawai during his time at the AIS.
I say he's worth goin after hard on a multi year deal and have him finish the season if possible, what do people think??

Wouldnt expect to see him play NBL this year but certainly could be a solid starting SF in this league although he was a bit disappointing in college for Utah.

He's from Rockhampton, so maybe Adelaide wouldn't be all too high on his list? I'm all for signing a promising youngster though, especially if his immediate goals don't revolve around leaving for Europe/NBA.

Or is it because he hurt is knee again and has major problems???...........

"Utah?s Stephen Weigh suffered a knee injury in the first half and had to be helped off the floor. He did not return. Coach Jim Boylen picked up his first technical foul as a head coach in the second half, for protesting a carrying violation called against Bryant."

Why would you say he was a bit disappointing in his FIRST year at a four year college!!?? Maybe yes, maybe no, but twice with a bad knee this eason is not good. :(
