Just a thought .
Why dont they take the lightning on the road to suburban clubs.
The crowds would come from the clubs and the host club would benefit from ticket sales and canteen/bar sales.
They already have "club games" why not club home games?
Just a thought.
Even with lower crowds since the Lucas saga, they still attract more people then could fit into a suburban venue. If Wayville still has the portable stands then that would be suitable but not on a 40 degree day.
The Lightning had over 600 at their last home game, imagine fitting that many into Hillcrest, Marion or Port Adelaide.

Dumb idea. Most suburban stadiums hardly come up to scratch at a state level, don't tell me you think they're suitable to hold WNBL games at.
ETSA park is really the only suitable alternative. Modern facility with airconditioning and court lights that work (Wayville has neither) It also seats about 2000-3000 people, which would be perfect if the Lightning ever decide to try and promote themselves and get more than 600 to a game.

whilst it is an honest idea - there is just too many obstacles / existing conditions / prerequisetes for it too happen.
we are haven a eldorado season and it is time to get on board.

I am sure the band wagon supporters will be back come finals time. Most of the year it has been the same faces there each week come finals time all the knockers will be back to support "their" team
Bluey , you should change your tag to 'Browny'.
We have a good venue at the dome, seems silly to waste it and us it only for the 6ers. I'm sure there could be some arrangment made with the duel useage. It would save basa some money!!!! now theres a thought!!
