I cant believe they had a press conference with Smyth talking about it and Chappell sitting right next to him!

Never seen that before.

NOrmally happens with signings, not sackings!

Often happens with sackings in AFL and NBL... This shows the person is leaving with dignity and generally that its a mutual decision.

I think it also showed that Mike understood that he did not perform, he has said it a few times himself. What ever your beef with Smyth, he does generally try to not make people look bad.
