The jokes on Telstra the Sixers dont have a chance at all of winning this years finals. Perhaps this might help them to make the playoffs though! Fingers crossed!

I would start with some good old fashion communication first off .

In seriousness , a smart move laying the groundwork for advanced information transfer and communication but lets just hope that other glaring and existing deficincies within the club are dealt with so we can get back to being the proud and desirable club we were regarded as .

rotate: "the proud and desirable club we were regarded as."

Mate, Australia hated us when we were successful.
How long have you been 'round, Fatboy (private joke)? ; )

Now maybe there's a chance to get the scoreboard working, as it would seem stupid to have a Telstra makeover that links you to all this other technology, but the scoreboard still doesn't work.

"36ers/Dome selected for Telstra Makeover"

geez... i read makeover, had visions of the boy goorj arriving with a couple of burly assistants

"Boy Goorjans Backyard Blitz"

They would spend the first 20 minutes of the show telling phil and everyone, just how ugly and out of touch the dome and team were, occasional sniggers at the outdated fittings and line up, comments like "thats how they did it in the 80s" and "this guy is from the 70's for goodness sake", the camera pans to phil who is nodding dejectedly, looking at his team and home with a downcast face.

The next 20 minutes are spent watching as Boy Goorj strips the team back to basics, introduces some great funky new designs from this century...gives the whole place some theme and structure, a few moments of levity as we see phil (and a couple of rats) peeking from behind a banner watching all of the fabulous new ideas being implemented.

Fianlly the last 20 minutes are spent unveiling the great new "Adelaide 0'seveners" complete with modern game plans, state of the art defensive plays and young funky players..the whole time Phil is standing on the court staring, his hands over his mouth in amazement as he sees a previously confused and aged team..now revitalised.

Tears form is his eyes as a new import stands at the 3 point line, dropping bomb after bomb, whilst assorted young ex south australians drive to the hoop, all the time being guarded by excited and commited defenders.

As the music starts and the credits begin to roll, Phil turns to BG and his assistants and says "I, I, I, cant believe it, this is amazing...how ever did you do it..oh ive wanted it to look like this for years, he grabs BG hugs him and says...but..this is too much, I cant stay here now.

(To much time on my hands obviously)

(Mod: Points for effort. You forgot "Oh my god, oh my god" at the end like a real Backyard Blitz episode. Bonus for the inclusion of the rats of course.)

Dome makeover, Information Super-highway, Technology makeover. I'd like to see that.

Hopefully Telstra can do something with the Coopers taps. I know, fibre optic beer lines. Not much would come out but when it did it would be 'Lightning' fast.......

It's big for the 36ers/Dome - I tried to clarify that it wasn't likely to be overly exciting for the majority of fans, so don't feel disappointed.
