Not worth it for either team I don't reckon.
The Lakers are winning, beating good teams, and running smoothly. There's no point in changing around the whole rotation to fit new guys who'll want minutes, seeing as the Kobe complaints have died down.
I think a bigger priority for the Knicks would be getting rid of Stephon Marbury, rather than getting Kobe. I don't think Kobe would be happy in New York, either. He have a worse supporting cast once you take out the guys who'd have to be sent to LA for him, and he's got no hope of being anywhere near a championship with the Knicks.
If the Lakers keep the same core, they can be in with a good shot in under 5 years. The only guy in the team over 30 is Derek Fisher, so they're just as young as the Knicks, but with more talent.
