Centrals have some issues, one commitee member in particular feels that you gotta put a div1 team in every age group no matter what (aint that right GM?)! The poor kids get pummelled year after year, but they stand together and declare their loyalty to the club. The parents stand by their kids and encourage them not to give up and try to instil a feeling of reponsibility into the kids. But then, as the kids get a bit older they hear stories from other clubs, they hear that things dont always have to be the way they have always been done. Thats when they start to drift away.
The kids (the players) have to be commended for putting up with all the crap, still showing up week after week, training, playing their best, trying their hardest against stronger teams, never giving up. These kids are fantastic and an example to be admired.
It's a shame that adults with stupid personal agendas and old fashioned ideas continue to let them down.
