I thought a fitting exit for the Port Players from the ground today would have been a solid bow to the crowd.

why didn't Tredrae bow to the crowd? only men bow, when you play like that, you have to kirtsy. UUUHHHH it's a beautiful thing, well done Geelong.

i suppose power failure and blackout are to easy to use -
POWER certainly at all time low - they are part of history though - but of course everybody would have lost to the cats - think about thats why they are premiers
CATS CAME TO PLAY
power where just having fun hey choco - enjoyed the week but now the cats can enjoy the next year PREMIERS

port the record breaking club, first club to ever lose by over 100 points in a GF & greatest losing margin ever, good to see that mark williams had the experience of 10 premiership players, that they would be to quick, king was past it,geelong would get stage fright, milburn carrying a calf injury! with all these things in ports favour imagine how big the margin could have been. one team talked with its mouth the other with its football, cant wait to hear from allan scott

Do we need 3 threads for this? I am sure Port supporters want to forget what happend. They come on to their favourite site and get a shalacking on three topics, as much as it feels so good, you have to feel sorry for them aswell.

me3, were you just as happy this time 3 years ago, or was it 44 years ago that you were ecstatic?

nutter, believe me, Crows wouldn't have lost by that match. Geelong and Crows are very close and tbh, if there was any team in the league to beat Geelong, i think it would be the Crows. I would much rather had the Crows play Geelong last year insead of the Eagles.

I don't think any team would lost by that much nutter, it's mainly due to Port's stupidity such as being "cocky". I'm thanking that Crows didn't make the Grandfinal, i feel sorry for Port, and their supporters who make the Grandfinal and get slaughtered.

Your "Atleast we made the grandfinal" can't be used this time.

That's right the crow's wouldn't have lost by that much because they would have just flooded the back line and made it as boring as a contest as possible.

Yeah, I'd much rather lose by 119 than be boring right? Brilliant thought process.

And as for "at least we were there".......Were they?? I sure as hell didn't see them out there.

As a AFL Member that was the WORST Grand Final i have EVER been too

The Calder Cannons wouldve put up a better effort than Port

So wouldve Carlton for that matter...lmao

Yes Fez, hear I am. One game does not make a team shit. A team of men playing a team of boys. Geelong were the best team of the year, and showed why yesterday. I am glad I did not go over and agree it was a boring GF. I am not a fan of Brogan, so bag him all you like. I am HOPING that they gain a lot of experience out of this (the younger guys), and improve considerably next season. i know i have said before but they did over acheive, but in saying that , this will hang around for a long time. If you guys get Judd you will be right up there next year. Heres the top eight next year not in any order: Geelong, Port, Hawthorn, Collingwood, Carlton, West Coast, Freo, Lions. Has any teams had a season like Geelong this season? Look forward to sparring with you next season. Bring on the cricket season !!

Look forward to it curious....lol...but i doubt we will disagree on anything Cricket

Depending on what we give up to get Judd,....we may sneak into the 8

Give up Fev, and we are 2-3 years away

Oh and as for a team to dominate a season such as Geelong......would have to say Carlton in 1995

Dropped 2 games for the season

Or the Bombers in 2000... only dropped 1. :-)

essendon 2000 dropped 1 game ?

carlton where awesome in 95 but didnt blitz all the awards as well.

saying that would love to see a "fantasy" game with all 3 teams ala like the computer sim in the latest rocky flick

the only thing geelong didnt win was the colemand medal and then only missed out by 8 goals

True.....Geelong have dominated everything

Here are the stats

1995

Carlton - 23 win 2 losses - 140.64%

and their 2 losses to the saints by 56 & sydney by 72

Carlton never dropped below 4th on the ladder

won 16 straight including the 3 finals

2000

Essendon - 24 wins 1 loss - 163.86%

thier only loss to the Doggies by 9

Started the season on top, and finished on top...amazing

Won 20 straight

2007

Geelong - 20 wins - 4 losses - 150.91%

Losses to Dogs by 20, Hawks by 4, Kanga's by 16 & Port by 5

Never dropped below 13th ....first game

Won 15 straight

Looks like Essendon is the winner.....forget individual awards

When it comes down to it...the order would be Essendon, Carlton then Geelong
