Not sure to be honest, and no mention of the 36ers on the VenueTix site that I can see yet.

Ah OK. Nothing under Sporting Events or "Adelaide 36ers" - it's under "Basketball: Adelaide 36ers" etc. My mistake.

Kids prices are excellent. Makes a family of 4 comparable in price to going to the movies. I know which one I would prefer.

Does anyone know if the 36ers offer a discount for group bookings, Im looking at taking a group of maybe 20 adults and 20 kids to a game??

The prices are excellent. At those prices, I would have been better off not getting season tickets...

I would have thought if you contact the club Ms Anonymous and ask them for a deal they should accommodate that..

Ms Anonymous, (#148693), great idea! Have your family christmas show at the basketball! Invite all the rellies and cousins, and have a ball.
Dont forget to invite grandpa, cos there are still a few players from his era on the team!

I agree Thomo, all I asked was a normal question, and it took a moron to give a stupid answer. Do you have nothing better in life to do Mr Anonymous (and for the record Mr Anonymous is NO RELATIVE of mine and will not be coming to my family Christmas show where ever its held).

Oh btw and the group that I wanted to take was a couple of school teams that I coach and their parents, some have never been to a 36ers game and I thought it would be a fun experience for them all. Sorry Mr Anon that you think this idea is worth a stupid comment from you!!!!

Ben

15 matches @ $320 per year = $21.33 per game.

Gold tickets through Venuetix are only $22.20 per game.

You only need be unable to go to one match over the season before buying on a per game basis becomes more economical. Ok, you get a t-shirt and the convenience of not having to buy tickets each week, but chances are I will miss at least two games this season.

Factor in a $3.30 booking fee per ticket when buying through VenueTix. Might not impact you much if you're going to miss a few games anyway, but still something to be considered.

I thought of that Isaac, but I don't think it would apply for walk ups...

Hey, I am not that worried, but it would have been nice had they done the calculations before setting season ticket prices so that they make it an attractive alternative. I would like to see people looking at coming to the game this week (or better, people who come to the game and really enjoy it) thinking, hey for $______ I could get a season ticket and come whenever I want!

I think it is a mistake to make season ticket holders pay almost full price for the tickets. After all, you want as many of them as possible, so why not reduce the price by 10% and try to get 15% more season ticket holders?

There is a fee on walk-ups I believe - waiting on full info, but I think it's $25 at the door all up for a gold, adult seat.

I just called Venuetix to try see when tickets were going on sale for Sixer home games in the next 2-3 weeks and i was told the NBL or Sixers havent given them a program so they are just selling them a game at a time. QUOTE "we havent got a program for the games so after this weekks game i think the next game will go on sale".

The lack of discount to season ticket holders is a Joke! If you are going to ask your (in many cases long term) biggest fans to commit for a year, the least you can do is offer them something...and its in the clubs best interest too!

having said that..perth are $329 for gold this year, for only 14 games = $23.50 a game.
