Lauren Jackson won her 2nd MVP today finishing 219 points ahead of San Antonio Star Becky Hammon. Jackson has had a tremendous season having taken out the Defensive Player of the Year Award and 1st team selection to the All defensive and All WNBA teams.

Jackson received a total of 473 points, including 42 first-place votes, while guard Becky Hammon of the San Antonio Silver Stars finished second with 254 points and Australia's Penny Taylor finished sixth with 48 points.
Jackson led the league in scoring and rebounding with 23.8 points and 9.7 rebounds per game, bettering her career scoring average by more than five points.
She ranked top of the league in double-doubles (double figures in two statistical categories in a single game) with 17 and was named Western Conference Player of the Week a record five times.
