Gourly can't coach! Why would they give him U18 boys Div 1 is beyond me? Just goes to show where Southern is at.

I think Kinghorn was given the arse by management. He wanted the 16s but not given them. Weddding is an excuse rather than not coaching. What clubs would want him as a senior coach.

I don't think so. I think you may find he shafted the Presidents daughter and they don't like him too much. Lucky break with the Nationals, with NT pulling out but with them probably getting smashed at Nationals, I wouldn't say that is on his terms.

I can promise you that Ryan was NOT given the shaft. He was offered any team apart from the U16 due to the fact the Carla was already choosen for that spot. There is or never will there be any bad blood between the president and Ryan. He has choosen to take this year off due to work and impending commitment for the forth coming year. Luv it how people luv to make shit up.

There is more to life than basketball people's.

P.S Doug Dunsmore coming back to Southern. That is great. Had him as a coach many many years ago and he is fantasic. (Only will ever say this once, but great move southern.)

Cheer up Snooty - this team will be a lot more successful compared to others i've coached.

More importantly, why do you care how sucessful this team will be? Were you overlooked? Sacked? Or do you just plain suck?

Confused - Not all coaches at Sturt rotate - and the female coaches tend to rotate less that the males. In fact Female Coaches general would not rotate at all - it depends on who sticks their hand up to continue coaching. I am sure if I am incorrect someone will correct me

Pickles I belive that you have at least one coaching appointment wrong.U12 girls will not be coached by Doug.Maybe he has the U12 boys now that Michelle has crossed to the girls program.(will she now become girls coaching director?????).Wayne has the U12 girls now and another good coach that has taken one girls teams from near the bottom last season to top 4 this season has the Div 2 U12 team

Brucie, You can not be serious? If the Div 2 coach is who I think it is, it not worth talking about him. Michelle as girls coaching director? you can not be serious. You must be listening to her because no one else would think she is capable of that job. Losing Doug to the boys is a good pick up for the boys and now we can watch the girls suffer even more.

Where is Paul Rigoni at Sturt - One of the better coaches going around at the club and looks like not involved next season - great people skills and mentor.

He is assisting U14 Boys but is taking a back seat this year.
