U23 State Teams Beat Down

Who would win if we held a U23 Nationals??

Who would be in teams??

Vic - Carter, Bruce, Dillon, Allen, Magee, Kickert, Bogut
SA - Kersten, Hill, Ingles, Newley, Foreman, Holmes, Schenscher
NSW - Markovic, Martin, Dowdell, Dowdell, Janev, Ogilvy, Maric
Qld - Weigh, Vanderjagt, Jawai, Baynes
WA - Hughes, Neville, Garrlep, Worthington, Deric, Johnson, Smith,
Tas - Gibson, Walker, Knight, Harris

U23 as of 2007 would mean you'd leave out the latter three from SA.

Vander from Qld, Worthington from WA and Kickert from Vic are also above the age of 23.

Kickert is also too old, already 24.

Vic with Bruce and Bogut would rip every other team apart. No doubt about it.

Depends - if it's U23 then Bogut & Bruce are too old.

If it's 23 & Under, then I guess they qualify.

If it was a BA type event (with age restrictions that of the current junior champs) those two would be ineligible.

Twnety Four - yes, but they wouldn't qualify for an "under 23" competition in Australia as they're turning 23 this year (if it were to be governed the same as the current junior champs).

Regardless, it's kind of irrelevent.

Would be a hell of a comp if it was to happen and all eligable players played.

Would be a great way to showcase the young talent and help BA with future teams to play in international competition.

Yeah but open to any player who has finished U18 but not over U23.

In U16, U18 and U20 champs the kids play the same guys, this would mix it up a little.
