I think you will find the complete opposite will be announced around lunch time tomorrow. My source, at the club, has said Newley told the club today that he will suit for the sixers.

Only ignorant people would hold this against him, his ultimate goal is the NBA, who but the most narrow minded of fan would give him a hard time if he chose europe as that avenue to the NBA. Hope he doesnt mind you, but he is a class player and i hope adelaide fans would not be so petty!

Boti article last week said today was the deadline for Newley to be in or out, just so sixers can sign a replacement if need.

Newley doesnt get back to Adelaide until late tonight. So I dont think anything will be announced until tomorrow at the earliest.

Newley hasn't told them anything yet. Today he will, as he only just landed in Sydney last night.
