Elton Brand Ruptures Achilles

Elton ruptured his left achilles during a workout

Thats gonna hurt the Clippers bigtime

Cant see him on the court till the 2008/2009 season now

Its coming along fine

Im back to playing

Went back to playing at the start of this year......so was all up 11 months on the sidelines

For the first 6 months the speed was still there.....just had no spring

New season has just started, and im a bit stronger in the leg

That's great news Fez :)

I was 9 months out, it is a long recovery. I assume your repaired achilles is thicker than the normal one.

One thing I've found, I unconsciously stretch my calves at every opportunity, my physio drilled it into me :) I could be at a wedding, I'm still stretching my calf!!!!

Yeah it is.....but its slowly getting thinner

LOL.....im the same....always stretching it

Ever since ive come back but, ive been wearing a soft ankle brace for support

LOL.....guess i just feel comfortable and at ease with it on when i play
