18 girls nationals

I hear that jess hansberry has hurt her knee and wont be playing for ages. What is happening with the SA country girls nationals team now? Who got put in the team in Jess's place? Will it make too much difference to the team?

Pretty sure there'd be no drinking from any of the nationals teams, thanks for your input though.

You may be underestimating country as they seem a happier group of players than their metro cousins
who seem robotic and terrified to think for themselves because of the consequences.

candice should do well, although she plays a totally different game to jess... they will struggle a bit with getting the ball up the court now. GOOD LUCK though girls...go and do SA country proud!!

I dont know if anyones had a look at the country team- they might not be great and they are poorly coached but they do have a game winner Bree Farley who is being seriously considered for the AIS next year. Very talented and athletic kid- very under-rated. She can play

It takes a TEAM to win a game... not just one player and yes Bree is a good player but she is definately not under rated... if anything she is over rated.

Interestingly, the stats for the tournaments don't show the minutes played. Not very useful when you want to compare performances!

It's there for individual games or individual players, but not in the team or competition summaries.

you need to click on the individual - that will give stats for each game including game time - and one kid from Vic Metro (girl) played an average of 16 mins and killed the tournament! Go the bigs!
