Ranking referee's is way too hard. All have bad games, all have good games, all get easy games, all get hard games.

Most consistently good referee - Phil Haines, Nathan Wieland, Nathan Durant

The very best umpire in the whole world would have to be my Jirachi. Jirachi was a wonderfull child growing up, all a mother could ask for. Now he knows everything and is the best at everything.
So I vote number 1 Jirachi.

i can't believe you guys haven't put welbourne up there in the top 5. from what i heard did a top job with the malaysian v mt barker game last friday.
had him a few times in aba last year and did a good job everytime.
also i would put wayne maidment and the 2 nathan's up there too.

What a load of rubbish. When has Daniel Hughes ever let a game go on for my than 5 seconds without calling a foul! Daniel Hughes would be in my bottom five of all time (that includes church bball) oh yeah and he is bias. Now i no all you umpires will have a hissy fit at this post but if people can say how good they all are surely i can have my opinion

Wayne, Phil, Nathan W and Tristan to a lesser extent, all refs that communicate with players. Carolyn and Weeks are arogant pricks that think they are too good to be reffing ABA and simply don't want to be out there.

Yes your right I do dislike them all, on the court. If you ask most these guys they would dislike me on the court too but I catch up with most of them after the game and theirs no hard feelings. These four guys do there trade better than anyone else in our comp, I didn't say I liked them!

Read the post anonymous, I said I don't like them on the court and i'm sure they don't like me, but off the court it's a different story. Some of these guys i'm talking about are good mates of mine. This is why i have no problem supporting them when they are trying to develop their training. I don't know what your trying to start here.

Some people get white-line fever, Panther is one of them. Great guy off the court and someone to not let out of your vision on the court. He knows what he needs to do for his team and he goes to work, I know what he does for his team and I make sure he does it inside the rules. We each have a job to do for the game.
