Best Guard/Big Combo in the League

Just watching the replay of the Cavs Spurs game 1. And the combo of Parker/Duncan is pretty unstoppable!
Who would you consider to be the best big/guard comboin the NBA?

Candidates...

Parker/Duncan
Nash/Stoudamare
Williams/Boozer
Dirk/Terry
Iverson/Melo
Kobe/Odem
Tmac/Yao
Billups/Sheed, Webber
Ford/Bosch
Wade,Willams/Shaq,Zo

Any more??

You're not wrong, the Parker / Duncan combo is mighty tough to stop. I'd say them along with Nash / Amare are the premier 1 2 punches in the league.

Currently playing you'd have to go with Duncan and Parker, but all time I'd have to say Stockton and Malone.

I dislike Malone, but the pick and roll game those two played was unstoppable....

TR, Magic and Kareem or Cousy and Russell would be ahead of those 2 i reckon.

nah i gotta agree with TR Malone and Stockton were unstoppable.

Good pick Kent, but I'm not sure if Kareem and Magic played together as well as Malone and Stockton.

Only one way to stop that pick and roll was to hope that one of them didn't suit up to play.

AK 47 Malone and Stock won NO CHampionships so they must have been "stoppable" Cousy and Russell take the points every day of the week

Stockton and Malone is like fish and chips they go really really well together, I think the Kareem and Magic were like a hotdog and chips, go well together but just something minor missing as a tandem.

I think that Magic and Kareem were stars in their own right and would/will always be stars in their own right. You can talk about the Lakers and most people think Magic and Showtime.

People talk about Utah and always refer to Stockton and Malone. That pick and roll was unstoppable and it just no effort and flowed. Teams tried to defend against it and the majority of the time werevunsuccessful. Stockton and that pick and roll is one of the reasons Malone ranks 2 in all time scoring.

coach, read the post again.

I said I didn't think they play as well together COMPARED to Stockton and Malone.

I never said Magic and Kareem didn't play well as a tandem.

Jules, don't be so petty. KB and TR were making a quick mention of an All-Time duo - nothing wrong with that.
