We would like to welcome you all to be part of an new tradition in SA Basketball. Be part of the BEARCATS MID YEAR CARNIVAL. Let's reward our divisions 2, 3, 4 & 5 by having a carnival just for them. To make this an awesome carnival WE NEED YOU!!! No Accommodation costs or hefty travel expenses & Entry Fee is only $200! Enjoy the local Port Adelaide and Semaphore Shopping Precincts in between games.

WOW! a club offering the forgotten divisions a carnival of their own. This should be awesome, Metro clubs should support this. If you don't enter your team, don't whinge that lower divisions don't have there own carnival!

Why did Southern run the Bearcats Midyear Carnival? Long way from the Port to M/Vale.
Lets hope this one goes well

It sounds like a very good carnival- however, when is it run? On a long weekend in June? There are also the Melbourne tournaments which are very popular in the Division 2's...

we at barossa have always offered a carnival for the divs 2,3,4,5 .Any one can enter its been going for 16 years as every one knows, even the bear cats . We have lots of support from the adelaide clubs and its great to get away and know that 1 hour drive you are back home again.Its great people and just one to get away from all the hassle and bussle of the city .So yes there has been one all along for the forgotten divs

Unfortunately it seems standard of teams at Barossa carnival have lowered. People are also tired of controversy, and every year it seems a certain 'ring in' club from Adelaide is involved.
Accomodation is even more scarce this year around the region. Hope it goes well
