Do you mean the pools & draw? I'd suggest we'll know which Vic teams have qualified tomorrow, so it won't be long after that I'd say.

In fact - if you look at the ladder on the vjbl.com.au site (which is updated with Friday's results already) you can work out which teams have qualified.

Is it top 8 for melbourne teams

Top 8 are guaranteed spots, though judging by the interstate teams they've rejected in some grades there may be more Vic teams.

The tournament organiser is a clown!!! He is probably out playing golf and drinking beer instead of organising the tournament. I hope he runs a tournament better than what he referees in one...

Hey, Who are 'Corio Bay'?
Never heard of them before, they're sitting 3rd in the VC behind Dandenong & Melbourne.

Who is 'Corio Bay'?

Word is that it was a mistake at Classics Admin end, not at North's end.

So it's a differnt situation to that of the Tigers in 2004.

Actually one club did in fact forget to nominate this year just like the Tigers did in 2004. That club is the same club that employs a full time Junior Program Manager and a part time Administration Officer and yet they still failed to nominate on time. But alas the rules are different for the boys in blue then they are for every other club.

Corio Bay are from Geelong. The Geelong area now has two teams in VC.

seems like the dream match-up of Norwood vs. Keilor wont happen. Keilor failed to qualify!

anon #135128,

I would suggest asking your blue buddies and those that work in the office in particular but I am sure neither would admit to you that they did anything wrong.

I can assure you that they were the only club from SA that did not submit their nomination with Basketball Victoria on time for the 2007 Classics.

Just my feelings yes you are on top in SA but melbourne is different and maybe over there they have a big man or two, to stop your only big man you have???

Top in season ladder but yet to win a major I see.

Victorian teams are going to be much stronger as Sturt found out when they went to Eltham this year.
