Biggest disgrace in NBA history?

First of all, no it's not Nash being denied his 3rd MVP by Dirk 'Chokes on it' Nowitzki! Although that was a joke too!

I am referring to the suspensions in Suns V Spurs, game 4.
I am a Suns fan, and may be a little angry and bias, but surely this is one of the most unfair things to happen for a while. Please tell me you agree.
This has all happened in the 2007 Suns V Spurs series& I am not going back over years of evidence& this is all recent and relevant.
This is video of Bruce Bowen, kneeing Steve Nash in the groin. The league reviewed it, and DID NOT suspend him.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7J2SDouIqtA
This is video of Bruce Bowen, kicking Amare Stoudemire in the Achilles as he is dunking. Again, the NBA reviewed it and DID NOT suspend him.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKxdfq_mRDE
After these incidents, in game 4, this occurred
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pBeCQak588
Robert Horry was suspended for only 1 game for this. He also got a second game for punching Raja Bell in an altercation that occurred following the hit.
Now this in itself is setting a bad example. Only 2 games total suspension for San Antonio, for the 4 incidents that occurred. What is the worst thing the NBA could possibly do now? How about suspend 2 Suns players for something non-violent and that didn't involve any contact with another player.
Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw were suspended for one came each, for stepping out of the bench area and going to see if their teammate was ok! (You will see the Suns bench on the right hand side, it highlights Amare and you can't even see Diaw, they were absolutely nowhere near the altercation.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qopfUzvGgMo
NOW. If this wasn't bad enough! The league reviewed a second incident earlier in that game, where 2 Spurs player left the bench area, also going to the aid of a teammate. Guess what? Neither was suspended.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHyuPorlLiQ (Watch the Spurs in the top right hand corner, CLEARLY, step onto the court.)

So after seeing all this, the outcome has become.
SUNS:
2 game total suspension
" Lose Amare Stoudemire for leaving the bench (Avg. 24ppg and 12rpg- 2007 All NBA 1ST Team)
" Lose Boris Diaw for leaving the bench (8ppg, 4rpg, 3apg- 2006 Most Improved Player)

SPURS:
2 Game total suspension
" Lose Robert Horry (4ppg, 1rpg, 1apg)
" Keep Tim Duncan, not suspended for leaving the bench (24ppg and 12rpg- 2x NBA MVP)
" Keep Bruce Bowen, not suspended for kneeing, kicking or leaving the bench (7ppg, 4rpg 2007 NBA All Defensive 1st Team)

So how does the team that has done nothing wrong, get punished, and the other team lose practically nothing?
What a disgrace!

The NBA has followed the rules!
It's shit and ruins a great series, but the rules are there, they all know them.

As for Duncan/Bowen being on court that was not deemed to be an altercation - a foul wasnt even called. So the best you could argue for there is the Spurs having 6 players on court whilst the game was on - but thats a bit of a stretch IMO as it happens all the time when big buckets are scored!

As for Amare rushing to see if his team mate was alright - thats also a bit of a stretch, he was rushing to get up in Horry's face and stick up for his team mates, no doubt about that!

Do you think after suspending ref Crawford for what he did to Duncan ,that the NBA is gonna suspend him now ? He's the golden boy.

Oh come on... Biggest disgrace in NBA history... I can think of at two events that were more heinous... Marcus Camby`s Michael Winslow (Police Academy beatbox dude) Mo` last year and Shaq`s cosmically horrific handlebar Mo` (there should have been UN sanctions leveled at the USA for that one - but as everyone knows, the UN is a toothless tiger - yet another example...)...

I agree with you Dragons Man that is probably one of the biggest disgraces of Justice. Bowen on both occasions knew what he was doing even on the second time he was more concerned on what he was doing he threw a bad pass. The video of Amare coming onto the court has been changed to something else? But if Duncan was on the court he should have also been suspended. Also that body check by Horry was a disgrace and if the league doesn't want to get a bad reputation it should set a strong precedent and Horry should be suspended for more then just one game.

Unfortunetly this series is over the Suns almost pulled out an upset today but didn't. It is terrible to know that this is how this series will end. I hope this issue doesn't go away and that the NBA suffers for these terrible mistakes.

Well done NBA for making an absolute joke out of what was going to end as a very entertaining

If the MVP is for the best player of the regular season then why hasn't Kobe won it the past 2 years? They've been playoff bound 2 years in a row, hes led the league in scoring 2 years in a row and has set some crazy scoring records this season.

David Stern contradicts himself. I wanna kick him in the face.

Not the biggest disgrace ever, although they did get boned.

I thought Bill Simmons had some good points:
