SASI - Where, when, how, who

I've a few queries about the SASI basketball. I've looked on the SASI website but couldn't find the answers i was looking for:

- when does it run (ie, Jan-Dec or April-March or July-June)
- what age groups are there, and where and when do they train
- how are selections made (and when)
- who are the main coaches

They run at ridiculous times like 3.30 or 4pm on a week day when parents are working. Pity is the person that runs it has never had a real job in the real world.

It runs for athletes 15-17 but begins in preparation a little earlier. Second year U14 are invited to trainings and are selected to represent SASI in Port Mcquarie in January of their first U16 year and are usually taken into pre SASI training as 'first years'. It runs virtually all year around and club coaches advise SASI but the predominant source of entry comes from TI camps such as just completed in the school holidays.
There is but one god and he reigns supreme but several clubs have clubs coaches.

1/ SASI squads train all year round, they have 3 x physical testings and reaks of for other singular events. Like the Thursday before State Champs and June Long Weekend.

2/ The earliest SASI sessions are run from 4.30 - 6.00 for the U15 age groups. Monday for the boys and Wednesday for the Girls.

The U16 groups train 6 - 8 on the same nights.

Both groups train once a week for the year.

The U18s train on Thursday evenings with the girls on from 5 - 6.30 and the boys 6.30 - 8.

The FUll scholarship holders are expected to add 2 weight sessions per week. This is orgainsed by the SASI support staff.

3/ Selections are made at the U14 and U16 TI Camps run in January each year.

4/ Coaches include, Damien Weeks, Trevor Simmons, Lyn Holland, Scott Butler, Ben Gliddon, Nicole Johnson, Ian Laurie, Dave Laurie, Paul Meske, Troy Schroder, Jarrod Clarke, Paul Arnott and others.
