State Champs - final points

So what were the final points tally for champion Male/Female club in State and Reserves? What about champion overall club?

I can imagine that one club President (the biggest one) in particular will be bitterly dissapointed with its performances continuing to slip year after year.

Can't see the final tally on the State Champs site but going through the finals results I get :

State Male : Sturt (22 pts)
State Female : Forestville (17pts)
State Overall : Sturt (34 pts)

Can anyone find official results?

Just counting results only (IE - excluding the deductions that three clubs had for forfeiting U21 womens games), the STATE points are as follows:

BOYS
Sturt 22
West 13
Forestville 4
Eastern 4
Southern 3
Woodville 3
Norwood 3
North 2

GIRLS
Forestville 17
Sturt 12
North 12
Norwood 6
Eastern 3
Southern 3
South 2

OVERALL
Sturt 34
Forestville 21
North 15
West 13
Norwood 9
Eastern 7
Southern 6
Woodville 3
South 2

Limestone won the girls & overall reserves titles & Sturt won the boys.

Would be good if this info was readily available on the BSA State Champs website...?

Interested - the teams who have nominated for Classics can be found at www.vjbl.com.au

If a team forfeits a game, its club will lose 5 points from its total in all awards for which that game was relevant, in addition to being fined $50.

Looks like that is the case. No North teams in any age group. Is this a repeat of the Southern Tigers fiasco of a few years ago? If not, what is the story?

Also, no Woodville in U12 Boys, yet they just made State Champs grand final.

Heard a story that a couple of clubs were rung up by Classic office not that long ago to see if they wanted to nominate this year- seems they forgot. One club wears light blue.........interesting! Oops

What has happened to Southern? I thought things were happening down there? A huge drop from last year.

Things are happening at Southern. Several teams have improved dramatically but the improvement isn't enough to bridge the gap. It is being addressed but you can only work woth the cattle you have. Some may say the cattle you get depends on your teams colours, but hey, work with wot u got, improve and they'll start to come over. If not, as long as ur players learn to play the game and improve each year, the wins will follow.

What a load of shit. Back to yearling sales and get some new stock. It doesn't matter because you guys eventually will lose them to the more successful clubs! You have been saying that things have been happeining down there for a 2 years now, but only things that are happening is that you are going backwards. Even Eastern beat you guys overall!

Southern had a very poor state schamps campaign one team out of the whole club made the final u 20 mens reserve who played well but were beaten by sturt.
I think its pretty poor considering the club is the largest out of all clubs so you think they could do a bit better. better luck next year.
Well done 2 the u/20 mens reserve team though

Southern U20 D2 made it to the grand final because they work as a team and have been playing together as friends for 11 years and their coach relates well to the boys but the whole under 20s programme has a lot to be desired, maybe the clubs direction needs a complete overhaul
