Super Happy with the coverage in the Internet. My digital provider has the same problem and perhaps the same package as Australia (2 games per week). Get a broadband connection and watch for free.

absolutely.....I was watching the Suns Lakers game where Kobe made 45 and from then to today I think there was only the one live game with the Spurs......what a joke.........with all the crap on Foxtel sports channels soccer this soccer that.........

Yeah, this is really starting to piss me off. ESPN in the states had LA v Suns today. What do we get over here? Baseball....

well . the kind of rubbish i get from them is that ESPN has exclusive rights to the NBA Playoffs in this region .. frankly that's a big cop off and i told them so .. cause they can pick up games from TNT or CBS or whereever but too cheap to do so .. anyway even if ESPN has the rights .. they still don't show all the games they have rights to !!! sick and tired of it .. and you know what i don't get anymore response from Foxtel .. cause they know how cheap they are

just watch the programming day to day - do not go by guides.

i can not recall the amount of times - i have found a good college / wnba / nba game on when flicking through the stations - after checking the guide and espn having programmed duck hunting or bass fishing in the guide - only to have basketball on !!

the espn policy is to play the live stuff through - so when the guides are set months in advance they can be subject to change at very short notice

College and Euro coverage on ESPN this year has been great. NBA coverage has been very POOR.

Foxtel was only really saved due to Fox Sports picking up some NBA games which made the regular season pretty handy with Fox Sports & ESPN giving us games. Now the playoffs are here and we are getting screwed over - nothing from Fox Sports (pesumably dont want to fork out the $$) and ESPN isnt even showing us everything they have rights too!

is there somewhere where we can find out what day & time the games are on Fox, or are they on a certain day??

also what's the link for the NBA games, and when are they visible etc?? cheers

If a whole bunch of us do this, it might lead to something being done.

we're supposed to be a sporting nation .. but the ONLY sports the media wants us to follow here are local sports like cricket and football .... any other competition and they want to bring it down !!..there's nothing qrong with following local sports but they should give us a choice NOT shove it down our throats. We're miles behind other countries when it comes to international sports.. hellin the Philippines .. they have at least 1 NBA per day !!! even China has it's own NBA dedicated TV ... what is. heck even non basketball Asian stations through Star Sports get more NBA !!! what is it with AUS ?? is it their policy to get threatened by international competition that they shut it down like they did to bball after the height of it's popularity in the early 90s ?? I DON"T understand .... and we pay a premium for cable here and we still get no real selection !!

Great work James...maybe I won't cancel my subscription now...

The only games tight ass Espn aka Foxtel are playing are Western Conference Finals ! THe crap Utah vs San Antonio , why don't we get Cleveland vs Detroit ! Words can't describe the coverage .

Why would u want cleveland vs detroit. Detroit are boring and lebron isnt doin anythign special. Id rather watch utah seein as we never get to see them. They are exciting and deron williams is a f*ing gun!

This whole "ESPN exlusive regional rights" is bad bad bad. Looking on the NBA website i have discovered that the Lakers V Nuggets game (Kobe v Iverson) is being covered in the states by ABC (game 1) and tnt (games 2 & 3). Given that ESPN arent covering the game then i have no chance at all to watch any of the games. Now i know its only 1 v 8 but look at what Golden State did last year, together with the fact that I'm a nuggets fan and I think I have reason to be annoyed. But hey i guess i can always watch the replay of the u20's rugby league, replay of netball, replay of 2nd division english soccer, or if i switch over to ESPN maybe some billiards, blackjack or the opening weeks of the baseball season between the three teams they always show - the red sox, indians or yankees.
