The Sacred Heart boys teams went 3-0 in the first group stage and have moved into the top 8. They are now in a group with Canberra, St. Francis Xavier and St. Gregory's... and the winner of the group goes to the the Grand Final to probably face off against perennial powerhouse Marcellin Bulleen, who boast Vic Representative Sam Allen. For anyone who is interested, the Girls Grand Final is on Thursday at 11am and the boys follow at 12.30... both at Wayville.

Sacred Heart boys have gone through undefeated and will meet old rival Marcellin College Bulleen in the Grand Final tomorrow at 1230pm at Wayville. All old scholars get down and support the school as it chases its first Australian Marist Championship.

Girls final is Lavalla College Traralgon vs St Francis Xavier Hamilton (Jenni Screens sister is in this team)

Marist is in relation to the Marist Brothers order that founded such schools as Sacred Heart College.

For the past 18 years the Basketball Championship has been held and Sacred Heart has made the Grand Final twice before in 1998 and 2001 losing narrowly both times. Hopefully they will finally get that title!
