Forget Schenscher, forget Newley!

Forget about the Schenscher in 36ers colours at all for next season.

Adelaide should be looking for more "reasonable" recruits to fill a lot of blank gaps at present.

So far the signed line-up is....

C - ????????
PF - BALLINGER
SF - ????????
SG - MAHER
PG - ???????

Bench

DAVIDSON
SUTTON
COOPER

At the starting centre, PEPPER and MELMETH should be targeted.

At the three spot, TUCKER and WETHERS should be given a call. And while your at it, give RUSH a qick ring to.

At the point, RYAN would be a great fit.

As for last years team, it seems NASH is gone and NG is going to be retained, so I think re-signing MASTROVICH could be a cheap, back-up option.

SO............the TEAM could be

C - MELMETH/PEPPER
PF - Ballinger
SF - WETHERS/TUCKER
SG - Maher
PG - RYAN

Bench

Cooper
RUSH
MASTROVICH
Davidson
Ng
Sutton

Points wise, I'm not too sure if it would fit, but I think it could be pretty close to 68.

Wethers, Melmeth, Pepper and Tucker may be reliable in the sense that they will show up AT every game, but mentally they wont! As for Damien Ryan, well after his effort in NZ, he has shown what a stand up guy he is.

wethers tucker and ballinger are three imports so it cannot be done, pepper allready stated he doesnt want to come here

I clearly state WETHERS/TUCKER, that means either one or the other.

Ok so PEPPER doesn't want to come, so Adelaide have to find another cheapish Aussie big

what other cheapish bigs would you suggest, dench seems to be on the outer but not cheap i wouldnt expect apart from that i dont see to many around other then looking OS or for aussies os like a mottram

Everyone needs to chill a bit, Adelaide will have a competitive lineup come Sept 21 against the Hawks. Give the organisation time to recruit. They've started well, by signing Ballinger. I guarantee Adelaide are aware they NEED to sign a big man...amongst other key positions. These posts achieve little, and are becoming repetitive.

agreed i still think its positive that they have made a decent effort to sign luke and brad even if it doesnt work out i like mals thinking of heading straight to the 2 best sa boys out of contract and try to get them here

Axel Dench (as mentioned)
Pero (then Cooper would start)

larry davidson would be nice but seemed to have some brain implosions,

pero would not fit the 36ers aparently he cannot get a grasp of set plays etc.. hence why other clubs have over looked him as well
but still enjoyed watching him whilst he was at the razors

my point was i wasnt sure if he understood ballinger was still and import that was all,

as any one who just looked at botis article and maybe not of read it, would get that impression,

i like the idea of moore though, ben knight hasnt he commited to singapore for another season
